Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
A Ticketing Channel Where Fans Propose the Price
1. What is FANSPRINCING?
FANSPRINCING operates as an official primary ticket sales channel and provides an event ticket sales service for promoters, managing the distribution of tickets on their behalf and for their account. FANSPRINCING acts as an intermediary and will always remain outside the contractual relationship that may be established between the promoters and the users who purchase their tickets.
It is an innovative ticketing platform where fans can propose the price they are willing to pay for an event ticket, within predefined parameters established by the event organizer.
It is a participatory pricing model that combines:
• Real-time demand data
• Algorithm-based validation
The variable pricing system is not a premium or differentiated ticket and must never be confused with a ticket associated with specific features or privileges, such as VIP tickets.
2. Does the fan fully decide the ticket price?
No, it’s a proposal.
This can be more or less than the average price.
There is also a confidential minimum acceptance threshold (hidden price). Offers below this threshold will not be accepted by the system.
The algorithm evaluates each proposal based on:
• Real-time ticket availability
• Demand conditions
• Organizer-defined parameters
3. Is it worth waiting until the last minute?
It’s not in your best interest, because if two people have entered the same code, the first one gets it.
4. What happens if my offer is not accepted?
If your offer is not accepted, you may submit a new proposal, subject to availability and event conditions.
The final purchasing decision always remains with the user.
5. How do I receive my ticket?
If your proposal is accepted, the ticketing company will issue and deliver your ticket through its standard distribution system (e-ticket or other authorized format).
6. How are service fees handled?
Service fees are clearly disclosed and presented separately before the proposal in the notice before doing proposals, in full compliance with transparency and consumer protection regulations.
No hidden charges apply.
7. Is this the same as dynamic pricing?
Not exactly.
Traditional dynamic pricing adjusts prices automatically (either manually or algorithmically) without direct fan input.
FANSPRINCING introduces active fan participation, allowing users to propose a price within a controlled framework.
It is a participatory pricing model, not standard dynamic pricing.
